Sarah Westerlund-Custer - Choreographer, has been dancing for over 19 years. She has professional training in Checcetti ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theatre style dance. She started her dance career at Fishback Studio of the Dance, but has also studied at the University of New Mexico as well as from numerous choreographers at various dance conventions. Sarah began assisting dance classes at the age of 13, and began teaching and coaching at 18. She has taught various types of dance classes including, but not limited to, pre-ballet, ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and hip-hop at Fishback Studio of the Dance, JCC of Greater Albuquerque, Sandia Preparatory School, and The Kid’s Flip Factory and created the JCC of Greater Albuquerque’s Children’s Dance Program. She is presently employed by the JCC of Greater Albuquerque where she is a grant write and operations assistant.
