The 2010-2011 season begins with the Academy Award winning musical, Disney's Aladdin. Aladdin is a "street rat" of Agrabah who winds up the owner of a wise-cracking Genie that gives him three wishes. Princess Jasmine is being courted by Jafar, an evil wizard with impure intentions. He is searching for the lamp that holds the Genie who is now Aladdin's ally, hoping to usurp both the Sultan's throne and the Genie's power. Children will enjoy songs like "A Whole New World" and "A Friend Like Me".
